    EKLGSC Chairman, Abejide Felicitates Staff, Citizens on Nigeria’s independence anniversary, Ekiti Creation

    The Chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Mr. Samuel Abejide, has extended warm greetings to staff of the Commission and the people of the State as Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary, and 29th anniversary of the creation of Ekiti State.

    In a goodwill message, Mr. Abejide described the day as a significant milestone in the nation’s history and a time to reflect on the collective journey towards unity, peace, and progress.

    “October 1st remains a powerful reminder of our shared struggle, freedom, and the responsibility we all have in building a prosperous Nigeria,the Chairman stated.

    He lauded the founding fathers of Ekiti State, for their determination adding that their dreams are gradually coming true with their then secretary in the saddle as governor of the state.

    The chairman also applauded the resilience and commitment of public servants across the local government system in Ekiti State and encouraged them to remain steadfast in upholding excellence, transparency, and dedication to duty.

    “As we celebrate this national day, I urge all staff to renew their commitment to service delivery at the grassroots. Together, we can contribute meaningfully to the vision of a better Ekiti and a stronger Nigeria,”he added.

    Mr. Abejide also prayed for continued peace, stability, and development in Nigeria, while reaffirming the Commission’s commitment to capacity building, good governance, and effective local administration.

    The Chairman concluded by wishing Nigerians a happy and meaningful Independence Day celebration..
