In a sustained effort to rid Kogi State of criminal elements and enhance security across the state, troops of 21 Battalion under 12 Composite Brigade Area of Responsibility have dismantled a suspected kidnappers’ camp in Edimogbo Forest, Igalamela Odolu Local Government Area of Kogi State. The operation followed credible Human Intelligence on the suspected presence of kidnappers taking refuge in the forest. The Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) has commenced an internal recruitment and conversion exercise to fill vacancies in its newly created Legislative Department. The exercise follows the amendment of the Local Government Administration Law, which was assented to by the Governor of Ekiti State and signed into law on June 4.
