    Ise Orun Council Boss, Bamikole hails Armed forces resilience, zeal, commitment

    The Chairman of Ise Orun Local government, Mr Samson Bamikole has hailed the courage, resilience and zeal of serving Armed forces in ensuring the unity of the country

    Bamikole gave the commendation when he joined other Nigerians to pay tribute in commemorating this year’s Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance day held at Ise Ekiti.

    He praised those still at the war front in the North part of the country, for their efforts in defending the Nation as well prayed for the repose of the soul of the fallen heroes.

    The Chairman called on Nigerians to continue to extend hands of fellowship to the families of the deceased and promised that his administration would continue to accord their welfare topmost priority.

    Mr Bamikole used the gathering to correct the notion that his administration has failed to execute some projects

    He said that over 24 projects had been initiated and completed by his administration

    Bamikole noted that his administration was able to bring to life a health centre in the community which cost the council over forty million Naira, among other projects

    The chairman of the Nigeria Legion retired Major Ojo Asolo appealed to Nigerians to always promote the welfare of the families of the the fallen heroes.

    He said that the Legion would continue to collaborate with the State government to improve security in the area.

    The Chairman, was joined by the Divisional Police Officer, Chairman, Ise branch of the Nigeria Legion, Traditional Ruler of Ise community and Religious leaders laid the wreath in honour of the departed souls
