Ekiti LGSC boss, Abejide congratulates Oyebanji on media recognition.The Chairman of the Ekiti State Local government service commission, Mr Samuel Abejide has facilitated Governor Biodun Oyebanji on what he tagged the well deserved award by two leading National Newspapers in the country.
The leadership and new Telegraph newspapers had during the weekend decorated the governor for his developmental achievements in the state.
The chairman explained that he was not surprised Mr Oyebanji was given an award as Governor of the Year on Infrastructure by New Telegraph Newspapers, saying infrastructure development in the state was second to none.
He said evidence abound, as the commission which has been operating from a classroom turned office was relocated to a modern permanent secretariat.
” Governor Oyebanji has been making waves with his people-centered leadership and transformative policies, I believe that the 2025 New Telegraph Newspapers awards and the Leadership Newspaper Award, were one of the ways to recognize his outstanding achievements in key sectors like education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and women development”, he remarked.
Abejide said the could be best described as “Mr Project” going by the level infrastructural development of the state since he came on board.
He congratulated the governor on the feat, adding that his achievements was visible was noticeable all over the Nation.
The chairman who pledged the support of the members and staff of the commission, said they would ever be grateful to him as he moved them to their permanent secretariat.
