    Encomium flows, as Permanent Secretary Ekiti LGSC, Toba-Ojo retiresThe Chairman, Ekiti State Local government service commission, Mr Samuel Abejide has described the outgoing permanent secretary of the Commission, Mrs Titilayo Toba-Ojo as an astute administrator who has made impact in the history of the commission.

    The chairman made the remark at a plenary meeting of the Commission held in honour of the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toba-Ojo

    Mr. Abejide said the meeting was conveyed not only to acknowledge the retirement of the Permanent Secretary but also to reflect on the progress of the Commission.

    He thanked Mrs Toba-Ojo for her numerous contributions to the commission and prayed to God to reward her accordingly.

    The chairman emphasized that the outgoing Permanent Secretary has made her pact urging others to take a cue from her, as everyone would one day retire and what they do would speak after them.

    In his remarks, Commissioner Wole Olujobi described the Permanent Secretary as accommodating and professional, stating that she handled her responsibilities effectively and was able to manage both the political and administrative aspects of her office with commendable balance.

    Commissioner Cecilia Dada thanked the Chairman of the Commission for his support and cooperation with the Permanent Secretary and offered prayers for her success in retirement.

    Also speaking, Commissioner Febisola Adewale commended the Permanent Secretary’s working relationship with staff, praising her loyalty and dedication to service.

    He urged her to continue exhibiting her admirable character and encouraged her to consider participating in active politics after retirement.

    Commissioner Olawole Adedipe also expressed appreciation for her service, noting that no negative report was heard about her conduct.

    He prayed for good health and long life for her to fully enjoy the benefits of her retirement.

    In his remarks, Comrade Onaade Segun a commissioner also, described the Permanent Secretary as a progressive-minded leader. He recalled that when she assumed office, she promised to increase herself by adding value to the office of the Permanent Secretary, a promise he noted she fulfilled.

    He added that her performance clearly showed that she is indeed a thorough professional.

    The Permanent Secretary, Mrs Titilayo Toba-Ojo, in her response expressed gratitude to everyone, noting that a tree cannot make a forest.

    She remarked that she had been well accommodated and supported by all members, and highlighted her various achievements over the past two and a half years, which she said were made possible through their cooperation.

    Others at the meeting took turns to appreciate the contributions of the retiring Permanent Secretary, commending her dedication, administrative experience, and commitment to the development of the Commission.

    They noted that her years of service had positively impacted the growth and stability of the service.
