The Governing Council Chairman of the Ekiti State College of Technology, Ijero-Ekiti (EKSCOTECH), Dr. ‘Femi Thomas, has reaffirmed his commitment to driving progress in the institution.
Appearing on an Ekiti Television Flagship programme, Daybreak Nigeria, Dr. Thomas assured prospective students that, studying at EKSCOTECH is affordable.
The Ex Ekiti Health Commissioner highlighted measures so far implemented by the Governing Council to include; blocking financial leakages, introducing biometric clock-in systems, and installing CCTV cameras in exam halls.
He announced plans to finalize a closed-user-group (CUG) arrangement for staff communication and noted achievements such as timely salary payments, ICT upgrades, and principal officers’ residency in Ijero.
The Chairman urged parents and students to utilize the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
He informed Ekiti populace that EKSCOTECH can now proud of improved learning environment and ambulance services.
Dr. Thomas called on governments to enhance work conditions and incentives to curb brain drain, emphasizing focused leadership drives progress.
He was accompanied by the EKSCOTECH’s Rector, Dr. Olufemi Olubamise and the Registrar Mr. Sunday Ayodeji.
