The Chairman, Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Samuel Abejide, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in the state and across the country as they observe the Salah celebration.
In a statement, the chairman emphasized the significance of the occasion and called on Muslims, particularly staff of the commission, to use the occasion to pray for the nation’s economic sustainability and national unity.
He noted that Sallah is a time for reflection, gratitude, and supplication, and charged Muslims to pray for the country’s leaders, policymakers, and citizens.
Abejide emphasized that collective prayers would help address the nation’s challenges and build a brighter future for all Nigerians.
“Our country’s diversity should be seen as a blessing and unite us the more and we can also leverage it to drive development” he said.
“I wish you all a reflective and joyous Sallah celebration and pray that the occasion will bring you more blessings, good health, happiness, and success in all your endeavors,” he prayed.
Abejide praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s leadership and policies, which, he said, had engendered unprecedented development and improved the lives of Ekiti residents.
He called on party members and Ekiti residents to rally behind Governor Oyebanji’s re-election bid, adding that Oyebanji’s leadership had brought stability and progress to the state and that his re-election would ensure continuity and further development.
