    …Seeks Prayers Ahead of June Governorship Election.

    The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly candidate for Ado Constituency I, Asipa Ayodeji Adarabierin, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival, urging them to sustain the virtues of sacrifice, love and obedience as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.

    In a statement made available to journalists in Ado-Ekiti, Asipa Adarabierin described Eid al-Adha as a season of sober reflection, devotion to God and commitment to peaceful coexistence among the people regardless of religious or political affiliations.

    The APC candidate noted that the significance of Eid-el-Kabir goes beyond merriment, stressing that the festival reminds citizens of the importance of selflessness, tolerance and unwavering faith in God.

    The former SSA to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue Matters called on Muslim faithful and the entire residents of Ekiti State to use the occasion to pray fervently for peace, unity and successful conduct of the forthcoming June governorship election in the state.

    According to him, prayers remain vital to the continued progress and stability of Ekiti, adding that the state has continued to witness remarkable development under the leadership of Governor Biodun Oyebanji due to the support and cooperation of the people.

    He urged the electorate to shun violence, political bitterness and all forms of divisive tendencies capable of threatening the peaceful atmosphere currently being enjoyed across the state.

    The House of Assembly hopeful also appealed to political actors and their supporters to embrace issue-based campaigns and conduct themselves responsibly before, during and after the governorship election.

    He expressed confidence that the people of Ekiti would once again demonstrate political maturity by ensuring a peaceful and credible electoral process that would further strengthen democracy in the state.

    The Ekiti State Director, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria commended religious leaders for their continuous prayers and moral guidance for leaders and citizens, saying their roles remain indispensable in promoting harmony and good governance.

    He reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation, grassroots development and people-oriented leadership if elected to represent Ado Constituency I at the State House of Assembly.

    The APC chieftain wished Muslims a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration and prayed that the blessings attached to the season would bring prosperity.
