    Agrofeed Integrated Services partners Oye community to enhance food Production

    Commercial Farmers at Oye Ekiti would now have seamless access in exporting their produce as an international group, Agrofeed Integrated Services based in Hungary has sealed the arrangements.

    To this end, the organisation was in the community to engage youths, women and other stakeholders involved in Agriculture on how to key into technology to improve agricultural productivity and efficiency.

    The stakeholders engagement tagged Oye Agro Allied Summit 2025, according to the organisers was aimed at empowering the youths and women in agriculture with a view to positioning Ekiti as a leading food producing state in Nigeria.

    The Chief Executive Officer of Agrofeed Integrated Services, Mr Omotunde Komolafe said that arrangements were in top gear to bring to reality the dream of making farmers proud in Oye community

    He added that the gathering was to expose the youths and women to the use of modern technology to improve farming and agriculture.

    Another facilitator, Mr Michael Abiodun attributed ignorance to why some farmers fail to excel in agriculture, adding that applying old methods no longer work in the sector but to embrace innovations.

    He explained that farming had exceeded production, and taking care of families, but the opportunity of exportation must be harnessed.

    The Oloye, Oba Oluwole Ademolaju hailed the group for bringing the initiative to the community, which would further boost agricultural productivity of Ekiti and make the state the food basket of the country.

    Part of the highlights of the summit was the presentation of ‘Iroko Agro-biz awards’ to individuals who have made giant strides in the agricultural sector for the development of humanity.

    One of them was Mr Michael Abiodun who was decorated for his outstanding service to nation-building and transformative impact on agriculture.
