Four distinguished individuals who have excelled in their respective professions and made significant contributions to the betterment of humanity will be honored by the Alararomi of Araromi-Ekiti in Ijero local government area, Oba Babalola Adebomi Babatunde.
According to a press statement signed by the traditional ruler, Chief Gabriel Olusola Ajayi will become the Asiwaju of Araromi-Ekiti and Mrs Adejoke Islamiat Olatunji will be installed Erelu Atuase of Araromi-Ekiti, while Mr Akinmakinde Owoseni and his wife will be honored with the chieftaincy tittles of Aare Bobagunwa and Yeye Aare Bobagunwa of Araromi-Ekiti respectively.
Oba Babalola noted that the Alararomi in council considerz it necessary to recognize chief Gabriel Ajayi as Asiwaju following his contributions to the unity, progress and development of the town.
“The Asiwaju title is a distinguished honor bestowed upon individuals who have earned it through remarkable achievements; it’s not a title to be taken lightly or given out freely.”
The monarch noted that the track records and antecedents of Mr. and Mrs. Akinmakinde Owoseni, as well as Mrs. Adejoke Olatunji, are remarkable, as they have consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership within the society.
“The honor will motivate them to continue delivering exceptional service and positively impacting the society.”
Oba Babalola explained that the insulation ceremony will be held on Saturday 14th of June at the palace of Alararomi by 10 in the morning.
The monarch thanked his people for their steadfast support and encouraged them to maintain their commitment, which would help propel the ancient town to even greater heights.
