The Alararomi of Araromi-Ekiti in Ijero Local Government Area Oba Babatunde- Adebomi, Babalola has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, on his resounding victory in the Saturday’s governorship election.
The monarch described the outcome as a reflection of the people’s appreciation of good governance.
In a statement made available to journalists, Oba Babalola said the governor’s re-election was a reward for his commitment to the development of the State and his inclusive style of administration.
He noted that Governor Oyebanji had demonstrated uncommon dedication to the welfare of the people through the execution of impactful projects and policies that have positively affected communities across the state.
The monarch praised the governor for the completion of the Iropora-Araromi-Epe-Ijero road project, which he described as a landmark achievement for the benefiting communities.
According to the traditional ruler, the road has brought relief to residents, farmers, traders, and transport operators as well boosted commercial activities within the area.
Oba Babalola expressed gratitude to Governor Oyebanji for fulfilling his promise to the people, noting that the administration had shown sincerity in addressing critical infrastructure needs in rural communities.
While celebrating the governor’s electoral victory, the royal father appealed for more government presence in Araromi-Ekiti through the execution of additional development projects.
The monarch said the governor’s second term will presents another opportunity to consolidate on the gains already recorded and extend the dividends of democracy to more communities across the state.
He assured Governor Oyebanji of the continued support of the people of Araromi-Ekiti, and expressed confidence that the administration would achieve greater milestones in the years ahead.
