…Urges Aggrieved Members to Unite for the Development of the State.

A Frontline Political Group, Asipa Political Family has congratulated Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji on the Federal High Court judgment dismissing the suit challenging the APC governorship primary in the State.

The Convener of the group, Hon. Ayodeji Adarabierin who is popularly called ASIPA 1, described the ruling as a victory for internal party democracy and a clear affirmation that the All Progressives Congress has the constitutional right to determine the eligibility of its members and candidates.

According to him, the Court’s pronouncement was a clear interpretation of the law and a reinforcement of democratic principles.

“The judiciary has spoken with clarity: the internal affairs of a political party remain the business of that party,” he stated.

Hon. Adarabierin who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Tax and Revenue Matters, said the judgment was not just a personal victory for Governor Oyebanji, but a victory for the entire APC family in Ekiti and across Nigeria.

He noted that the judgement validates the transparent process through which the Governor emerged and underscores the unity of purpose within the party.

“With this judgment, The Court has spoken: APC decides who flies its flag, and the people of Ekiti have already chosen Governor Biodun Oyebanji as their leader,” he said.

He commended the judiciary for resisting the temptation to meddle in party administration, adding that such judicial restraint strengthens Nigeria’s democracy and reduces unnecessary pre-election litigation.

The State Coordinator, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria called on all aggrieved aspirants and their supporters who instituted or backed the dismissed suit to sheathe their swords.

“We are one family under the progressive banner. The contest is over. The candidate is known. Let us now join forces with Governor Biodun Oyebanji to consolidate on the gains of his first term,” he urged.

Hon. Adarabierin availed the platform to appreciate the Leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Ado Ekiti constituency 1 for the affirmation of his candidature to represent his people, which he said was in accordance with the Party’s constitution and the new electoral guidelines.

The President of Inland Club of Ado Ekiti reiterated his resolve to be accessible to all and pledged to work towards addressing the needs of his constituents.

Also the coordinator of the group, Alhaji Jamiu Gboyega emphasized that Governor Oyebanji’s victory was not a surprise, owing to what he described as the overwhelming support the governor enjoys in the State, as well as his track record of unprecedented achievements.

He expressed confidence that Governor Oyebanji’s second-term agenda, anchored on continuity, shared prosperity, and grassroots development, will deliver more dividends of democracy if the party remains united behind him.

“Once again, I congratulate His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji. The Court has validated what we already knew: he is our candidate, and by God’s grace, he will be our Governor again. Let us all come together now and make it happen,” Alhaji Gboyega concluded.
