Cavista Holdings has appointed Mr. OSKA Seyi Aiyeleso as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Matna Foods Company Limited, marking a key leadership move following the company’s recent acquisition of the cassava processing firm.

Aiyeleso is to assumes the role with immediate effect and will continue to serve as MD/CEO of Agbeyewa Farms, a Cavista subsidiary recognized as Africa’s largest cassava farm.

The dual appointment is aimed at strengthening integration between primary production and processing within the group’s cassava operations.

With more than three decades of experience in sales, marketing and operational leadership, Aiyeleso has worked across multinational organizations in the fast-moving consumer goods, oil and gas and public sectors.

At Agbeyewa Farms, he is currently driving a 12-point transformation agenda designed to modernize cassava farming practices and contribute to improved food security in Nigeria.

Cavista Holdings said aligning leadership across both Agbeyewa Farms and Matna Foods will enhance coordination, streamline operations and unlock new efficiencies across the cassava value chain from cultivation to starch production.

Under Aiyeleso’s leadership, the company is expected to scale capacity, deepen relationships with farmers and suppliers, and expand its market reach.

Chairman of Cavista Holdings and Agbeyewa Farms, Niyi John Olajide, described the appointment as strategic for the group’s long-term vision.

“OSKA brings energy, clarity of purpose, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build strong, sustainable businesses,” Olajide said. “This is about building capacity, creating jobs, supporting farmers and ensuring that Nigeria’s cassava value chain works more efficiently and competitively.”

He explained that Aiyeleso’s appointment reflects Cavista Holdings’ broader commitment to scaling operations, modernizing processes and strengthening partnerships across its agricultural and food processing portfolio.
