The Chairman of the Ekiti State Electricity Board, Barrister Dele Oloje, has congratulated Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, Okinlua Monisade Afuye, on their re-election in the June 20 governorship election, describing the victory as a clear affirmation of the confidence and trust the people of the state have in the governor’s leadership.

In a congratulatory message, Oloje, who is also an APC chieftain in Ekameta Ward, Ijero Local Government Area, said the governor’s overwhelming victory reflected the people’s appreciation of his administration’s performance across key sectors.

He said, “The outcome of the election is a clear endorsement of Governor Oyebanji’s people-oriented leadership and the remarkable achievements recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic development during his first term.”

The Electricity Board Chairman commended Governor Oyebanji for the reconstruction of the Iropora–Araromi–Epe–Ijero Road and the Ekameta–Ara-Ekiti Road, describing the projects as transformative.

According to him, “These road projects have brought relief to our people, improved connectivity and boosted economic and social activities in the affected communities.”

While expressing appreciation for the completed projects, Barrister Oloje appealed to the governor to extend similar intervention to the rehabilitation of the Awo Ara–Ijero Road, Epe–Osi-Ekiti Road and Epe–Iroko-Ekiti Road.

Oloje wished Governor Oyebanji and his deputy a successful second term in office and urged Ekiti residents to continue supporting the administration.

He added, “I have no doubt that the governor will consolidate on his achievements and deliver even greater dividends of democracy to every part of Ekiti State in the years ahead.”
