    Ekiti youths storm Ado street, endorse Tinubu, Oyebanji for second term

    Youths in Ekiti State took to the streets in a massive show of support, with a 10,000-man march calling for the renewal of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s mandates.

    The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Students Engagement Mr Sunday Asefon, who is the Convener of the rally in Ado, said that President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji’s leadership has brought unprecedented Development to the State and Nigeria.

    The march which was at the instance of the SSA to the President on Students Engagement drew large crowd of youths, who demonstrated their appreciation for President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji’s’ efforts in promoting youth development and inclusive governance.

    The 10,000 Man March started from the All Progressives Congress’s headquarters at Ajilosun and concluded at the Fajuyi Pavilion

    Asefon explained that President Tinubu has implemented various policies focused on youths development, while also commending Governor Oyebanji for keying into the renewed hope initiative of the president

    The SSA who emphasized that the e-membership registration of the party was a way to mobilize support for President Tinubu and Governor Oyebanji, urged the youths to participate in the exercise.

    In their remarks the Speaker Ekiti State Assembly Mr Adeoye Aribasoye, Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Adesola Adedayo and MD/CEO YSJ Nigeria Ltd Mrs Yemisi Joluwe urged the youths to intensify public sensitization on voter education and highlighted key government interventions in areas like road infrastructure, healthcare, and social development

    Some of the youth leaders in an interview noted that the 10,000 Man March was to throw their weight behind President Tinubu and Oyebanji’s re-election bids.

    They encouraged young people to take active roles in politics and decision-making processes.

    Highlights of the rally was the free distribution of Laptops and phones as well as phone accessories to some of the participants
