    Ekiti youths throw weight behind President Tinubu’s re-election

    Youths in Ekiti State have commended President Bola Tinubu’s reforms, noting that the various policies of the present administration had helped transformed the nation’s economy and empower young Nigerians.

    Addressing the youths at a gathering in Ado Ekiti, one of the youth leaders in the state, Hon. Ayodeji Adarabierin who is also the Coordinator, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria Group, RTIFN in Ekiti State cited Tinubu’s transformative policies and commitment to youth empowerment as reasons for the youths support.

    He highlighted achievements of the administration in agriculture, education, and infrastructure.

    “His achievements are too numerous to , mention in all the critical sectors of the economy within this short period, he has revolutionized the Agriculture sector by boosting food security and creating jobs through initiatives like the “Bring Back Our Youth to Agriculture” scheme.

    He has also provided relief and opportunities for students through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, the Three Million Technical Talent Initiative that equipped youths with globally relevant digital skills and the execution of projects scattered across the nooks and crannies of the country like the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and Sokoto – Badagry Super Highway which are expected to stimulate economic growth and improve connectivity among others”, Adarabierin said.

    The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue Matters while speaking on the mandate of Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria Group, with a presence in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory explained that its aim was to propagate the people oriented policies and various unprecedented accomplishments of the President and mobilize for his re-election.

    He thanked the Grand Patron of the group, Barrister Seyi Tinubu and the National Coordinator, Hon Bala Ahamed for mobilizing youths across the country to support the continuity of good governance under President Tinubu.

    The youths applauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for implementing various economic and social reforms aimed at transforming Nigeria’s economy and improving the lives of its citizens

    On the economic reform, they described the subsidy removal policy of the present government, as a game-changer for sub-national governance and acknowledged the President’s boldness for taking such a decisive step that had been long overdue.

    “By removing fuel subsidies, this administration under the leadership of President Tinubu had been able to allocate more funds to support states and local governments, potentially increasing fiscal autonomy for states, enhancing infrastructure development, Improve public services like healthcare and education as well as creating opportunities for economic growth at the local level”,they noted.

    The group praised President Tinubu for recognizing the potential of Nigerian youths by appointing them into political offices, thereby promoting youth inclusion in governance and youth representation in decision-making

    They noted that the step would also empower and equip young leaders for the task ahead in shaping the country’s future.

    The youths also acknowledged the effort of the President towards overhauling the Tax System to enhance fairness and inclusivity, with a focus on expanding the tax base and providing relief to low-income earners.

    The people highlighted other achievements of the President to include improved service delivery in the health sector, a 50% dropped in debt service-to-revenue ratio, exchange rate unification that has rejuvenated market confidence, improved interest rates, that laid the groundwork for GDP growth., trade surplus, and stronger external reserves

    These reforms and many others they said had led to several economic milestones, aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians, hence the need for the re-election of President Bolanle Ahmed Tinubu, to consolidate on his achievements

    They pledged their continued support and promised to support his re-election bid in 2027.
