    The Senior Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Tax and Revenue Matters, Hon. Ayodeji Adarabierin has praised the Governor’s receipt of the Governor of the Year on Infrastructure at the 2025 New Telegraph Newspapers awards in Lagos and the Leadership Newspapers Awards in Abuja, calling the double awards “well-deserved.

    Hon. Adarabierin who lauded Gov. Oyebanji’s people-centered leadership and transformative policies, which have driven development in the state, highlighted Oyebanji’s achievements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, saying these efforts have improved the lives of Ekiti residents.

    ” Governor Oyebanji has been making waves with his people-centered leadership and transformative policies.

    I believe that the 2025 New Telegraph Newspapers awards and the Leadership Newspaper Award, were one of the ways to recognize his outstanding achievements in key sectors like education, healthcare, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and women development”, he remarked.

    ” Increased monthly subvention to tertiary institutions from N767.8 million to N1.27 billion, clearing all salary arrears and funding facility upgrades, highlighted his achievement in reforming the Education Sector.

    In Healthcare, I am aware that this present Administration established the Ekiti State Health Insurance Scheme, providing free healthcare to 19,000 pensioners, and performed over 3,700 free surgeries, upgraded nearly all health centers in all the 16 local governments and lot more.

    Completion of several road projects, including the Ekiti Ring Road, and the construction of the Okeyinmi Flyover Bridge and his administration is committed to empowering youths, training over 5,000 young people in entrepreneurship and financial literacy, and also provided vocational tools to persons with disabilities”, he remarked.

    The tax experts also commended the efforts of the Oyebanji’s administration on its commitment to transparency, with Ekiti State ranking No. 1 in the BudgIT State Fiscal Transparency League for five consecutive quarters.

    The Convener of Asipa Political Family, used the opportunity to throw his weight behind Governor Oyebanji’s re-election bid, urging Ekiti residents to support him for a second term.

    Governor Oyebanji has shown exceptional leadership, and we need him to continue driving our state’s progress,” Adarabierin said. “Let’s give him another four years to consolidate on his achievements and take Ekiti to the next level.”
