In line with the All Progressives Congress constitution and the new electoral guidelines the APC leadership in Ado Ekiti has affirmed the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue Matters, Hon. Ayodeji Adarabierin as its candidate for Ado Constituency I
The affirmation according to the Party Chairman Hon. Mike Akinleye at the party office, Odo Ado in Ado Ekiti during a meeting of party leaders, noted that Hon. Adarabierin was a product of the consensus by all the ward Chairmen in his Constituency.
“As the party Chairman, I’m confident that Hon. Adarabierin will be a great asset to Ado Constituency I. He’s a dedicated party member with a proven track record, and I’m sure he’ll deliver excellent representation to the people.” Mr Akinleye said.
Also some of the party leaders, Mr. Sunday Ibitoye, a former lawmaker, Mt Tope Olanipekun, Engineer Toyin Ojo who is the Chairman, Ado Central LCDA among others commended Hon. Adarabierin’s loyalty and commitment to the party, citing his potential to deliver meaningful representation to the people.
“Hon. Adarabierin is a team player with a deep understanding of the issues affecting our community. His experience as a technocrat and politician will enable him to hit the ground running and make a real difference in Ado Constituency I.” They remarked.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Adarabierin first and foremost expressed gratitude to Almighty God for the grace to be alive to witness the affirmation.
He also extended his appreciation to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the opportunity to serve in his government and the party leaders and members for the platform to represent the people, while promising to be accessible to all and pledged to work towards addressing the needs of his constituents.
All glory, honour, and praise belong to God Almighty for this victory and I also appreciate Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his trust and support. And all our leaders and members, I promise to justify this confidence.” – Hon. Adarabierin said.
“I equally assure you, my people, that I will work tirelessly to serve Ado Constituency I and bring the dividends of democracy to your doorstep. I will not disappoint you.
My commitment to you, dear people of Ado Constituency II, is to be a servant leader who listens, responds, and delivers. Together, we will build a brighter future for our community.” Hon. Adarabierin noted.
Hon. Adarabierin promised to leverage his expertise in public Administration, to drive development in Ado Constituency I.
“Together, we will chart a new course for Ado Constituency II, leveraging my experience and network to attract projects, create opportunities, and improve lives.
“Ado Constituency I will not be a mere constituency, but a thriving community where every citizen has access to opportunities, amenities, and government support. I pledge to make this vision a reality.” – Hon. Adarabierin assured.
He equally promised to keep supporting the governor’s agenda for the state.
Party members who graced the affirmation of Hon. Adarabierin said that the party’s decision was a welcomed development and expressed confidence in Hon. Adarabierin credibility to facilitate dividends of democracy in key areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
“Hon. Adarabierin’s emergence as our consensus candidate further attested to his popularity and the trust the party has in his leadership. The people said Hon. Adarabierin’s emergence was as a result of his popularity and the trust reposed in him by the party leaders and members, saying his endorsement will boost the party’s chances in the forthcoming Governorship and General elections and promised to rally behind him.
