Ekiti APC Primary: I’m Confident of Victory…Oyebanji
….calls for a level playing field for all Aspirants.
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji has lauded the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress(APC), for putting in place a well arranged Committee and process in place to scrutinize all Aspirants ahead of the Party’s Primary scheduled for October 20, in the state.
Oyebanji who arrived the venue of the screening exercise in Abuja on Monday around some minutes ten in the morning, was the first to participate in the exercise being handled by a Seven-member committee set up by the APC NWC and chaired by the lawmaker representing Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-ero federal constituency, Honourable Abdulraheem Olawuyi.
The exercise conducted behind closed about ten minutes had the Governor’s credentials scrutinized in tandem with the forms earlier submitted.
Speaking with Journalists shortly after, Oyebanji said the was part of procedures of clearance for the forthcoming primary and expressed confidence in the ability of the screening committee for a reliable outcomes.

According to him, *‘’the exercise was conducted well and the committee has done their job and it is part of the protocols for clearance of Governorship election in Ekiti State. They went through my credentials and asked questions and I responded. I’m sure that hey will come out with their final decision.’’*
He called on the APC National Leadership to provide a level playing field for all the Aspirants that that had shown interests and scale thru the screening process to enable them test their strengths among party members.
Oyebanji said *‘’I must commend them for a job well-done and also commend the APC party for ensuring that this process is put in place. Its going to save the party from a lot of problems. The committee are being professional and all the questions were attended to.’’*
Oyebanji expressed confidence to clinch the party’s ticket in the October 27 primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and called on his supporters across the state to remain firm.
The Governor who also urged the committee that will conduct the forthcoming Primary election to work tandem with party guidelines expressed optimism in their capacity.
Welcoming other contestants into the race, the Governor boasted that Water will find its level by October 20 Primary election.
Accompanied the Governor to the venue were Senators Cyril Fasuyi, Olubunmi Adetumbi, former federal lawmakers, Mr Bimbo Daramola, Mrs Omowunmi Ogunlola, later joined by Senator Yemi Adaramodu, Hon. Kolawole Davidson Akinlayo, Rtd. AVM OjuawoSpeaker Ekiti House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adeoye Aribasoye and DG, SGDs, Prince Adewole Ajakaye.
They pledged the unflinching supports of party members in their respective areas for the Governor beyond the primary, saying his victory in the June 20 Guber poll is sacrosanct.
