In the spirit of Christmas, the Convener of a frontline Political group, Asipa Political Family, Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin has again distributed cash, bags of rice, seasonings, salt, and other consumables worth millions of Naira to his constituents.
The SSA to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Tax and Revenue matters, Adarabierin who is fondly called Asipa 1 by his admirers, explained that the gesture which was not the first of its kind, reached beyond political circles, as the less privileged within the constituency also benefits
“It is our annual rituals in Asipa Political Family to always give to our people. Today, I have distributed bags of rice, vegetable oil, and other consumables worth millions of Naira to my constituents
“I have also given cash gifts to youths, women, and the elderly to enable them to celebrate Christmas.
“In the history of my political sojourn, ever since I started this gesture, no festive period passes without me celebrating with my constituents, either Christmas or Sallah, my life has always been impacted by touching the lives of the people, particularly my people,’’ he said.
Mr. Adarabierin further explained that Christmas is a season of love and sharing, particularly with the less privileged, adding that the routine act of kindness was also to support the effort of Governor Oyebanji administration’s dedication to improving the lives of Ekiti residents, especially during festive periods.
He said he would not stop putting smiles on the faces of his constituents, adding that it’s a personal instinct to better the lives of people across religious lines.
The SSA urged Christians to use the festive season to pray for unity, peace and prosperity of Nigeria and that they should rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ, which emphasizes tolerance, patience, brotherly kindness, care for the needy and love for one another, among other virtues.
“First and foremost, my message is to give thanks to God for giving us the opportunity to witness another Christmas and again, Let’s use this period to connect to Almighty God and give back to the society.
“It’s a season of giving, nothing is too small to give, so let’s ensure we equally from whatever token God has blessed us with, reach out to people in our environment,’’ Asipa remarked.
The Secretary of State Primary Election Committee for the reelection of Governor Oyebanji who emphasized the importance of coming together as a community, fostering goodwill, and spreading the joy of the season also used the occasion to solicit Ekiti residents continued support for the present administration.
The Coordinator, Asipa Political Family Hon. Jamiu Azeez Gboyega lauded the efforts of Mr. Adarabierin and said that he has been a good ambassador of Ado Ekiti and good representative of Governor Oyebanji.

One of the Coordinators, Hon Mary Aladetoyinbo expressed gratitude for the support saying it has been his usual practice and called on all APC and Asipa Political Family members to be resolute and stand by Governor Oyebanji for more development in the state.
Others Beneficiaries across various demographics appreciated the Convener of the group, Mr Adarabierin for his support saying it has been his usual practice.
