The All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Ado Ekiti have officially endorsed Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s aide, Mr Ayodeji Adarabierin and Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Mrs Bolaji Olagbaju as its consensus candidates for Ado Constituency I and II, respectively ahead of the 2027 Ekiti State House of Assembly election.

The affirmation was made at the APC Party office in Ado Ekiti, where party leaders and members gathered to ratify the decision.

Party Chairman in Ado Ekiti, Hon. Mike Akinleye, said the duo were chosen for their exceptional qualities and ability to deliver robust representation to the people.

The party Chairman described Mr Adarabierin, a seasoned politician and technocrat, noting that he will bring a fresh perspective to the House of Assembly.

He added that his expertise in tax and revenue matters will be invaluable in driving development in Ado Constituency I.

Mr Akinleye also praised the incumbent Deputy Speaker, Mrs Olagbaju for her dedication to the people of Ado Constituency II, adding that her experience and leadership skills made it ideal for her to continue representing the constituency.

One of the party leaders, Mr Sunday Ibitoye urged the duo to work tirelessly to bring development to their constituencies and ensure the dividends of democracy reach the grassroots.

He called on residents of Ado Ekiti to rally behind the consensus candidates and work towards a resounding victory for them in the 2027 elections.

The two candidates, Mr Adarabierin and Mrs Olagbaju expressed their gratitude to God and the party leaders and members for their support.

“My good people of Ado Constituency I, our tenure will not be a period of promise making alone, but a time to drive progress. I will work with all stakeholders to attract projects, create opportunities, and improve lives.” – Hon. Adarabierin assured

The duo promised to work collaboratively to deliver quality representation and improve the lives of the people.

Other Party leaders at the event applauded the affirmation and advised the party consensus not to betray the confidence reposed in them by the people.
