The Ekiti State Government has dissolved the State Council of Traditional Rulers, chaired by the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, HRM, Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro. The dissolution was contained in a statement signed by the Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, and made available to newsmen on Thursday. The Ekiti State House of Assembly has passed the bill banning the use of Mobile phones and conveyance of two passengers by the motorcycle operators in the state. The order was part of the State motorcycle operators Regulatory bill 2025 considered by the Committee of the whole house and passed into law during plenary at the Assembly complex in Ado.
