The Ekiti State Executive Council has approved N6.765 billion for the construction of new hospital buildings at the General Hospitals in Ikogosi-Ekiti, Awo-Ekiti, and Ipao-Ekiti. The approval was part of decisions taken at the Council’s seventh meeting of 2026, held on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti, to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and improve access to quality medical services across the state. The Chairman of the Ekiti State Local Government Service Commission, Mr Samuel Abejide says the commission in the last three and half years has witnessed improvement courtesy of the state governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji.
