Pandemonium erupted early Monday morning at Okeyimi Health Centre of Ado Ekiti, as a three day old baby was reportedly stolen. According to an eyewitness account, the baby’s disappearance was noticed when the Nurses on duty wanted to cater for her in the morning. The Nigeria security and Civil Defence Corps Ekiti State command has cautioned bouncer’s association in the state, saying it operations have been constituting threats to the security settings of the state. The chairman of the Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency (EKSEPA), Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo has commended Governor Biodun Oyebanji for approving the fixing of old electricity wires, facilities in Oye-Ekiti. Oguntoyinbo gave the commendation while addressing journalists on Friday in Oye-Ekiti. The Ekiti State House of Assembly has passed the bill banning the use of Mobile phones and conveyance of two passengers by the motorcycle operators in the state. The order was part of the State motorcycle operators Regulatory bill 2025 considered by the Committee of the whole house and passed into law during plenary at the Assembly complex in Ado.
