Hundreds of residents from constituency one in Ado Ekiti have benefited from the latest empowerment programme of their lawmaker, Mr. Ayo Adegbite.

The beneficiaries received laptops, sprayers, hair dryers, sewing machines, and cash gifts, among others.

The event, held at the Fajuyi Hall in Ado Ekiti, saw constituents gather to receive the empowerment items from Mr. Adegbite, who has consistently delivered on his promise to support their welfare.

Beneficiaries praised Mr. Adegbite’s performance, saying the items will improve their productivity.

Some beneficiaries, including Miss Akinyede Oluwanifemi and Mr. Omotoyinbo Marvelous who received laptops, expressed gratitude, and noted that the devices will enhance their work.

Guests at the event, including the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, represented by the Assembly Leader, Mr. Tolulope Ige, and the Chairman of Ado Local Government, Mr. Bosun Osaloni, commended Mr. Adegbite for his initiative.

Other notable attendees, such as APC Chairman in Ado Ekiti, Mr. Mike Akinleye, Mr Ademola Adetola and a former lawmaker, Mr Tope Olanipekun, also praised Mr. Adegbite for giving back to the community.

In an interview, Mr. Adegbite stated that the donation was part of his ongoing efforts to ensure his constituents benefit from democracy’s dividends.

Mr. Adegbite advised beneficiaries to use the items for their intended purpose and not sell them.

The lawmaker’s gesture has been well-received by the community, with many expressing appreciation for his commitment to their welfare.
